Shape guide

Oval, rectangle, or something else.

Shape decides how the tub looks in the room, how much space it needs around it, and whether it's built for one person or two.

Sizing

Sizes 58″ to 72″ long, 33″ to 48″ wide.

Match your space first, then the bath. Every size below is a real freestanding model — and we allow 6–8″ of clearance around the tub for fitting and service.

Jets in a freestanding tub

How the hydrotherapy fits inside.

A freestanding tub hides its pump, heater and lines inside the shell — which is why access and noise planning matter more than with a built-in.

Jets and pump

Back and leg jets are plumbed inside the shell; the pump sits in a recessed compartment.

Access panels

Factory panels keep the pump reachable for service without removing the tub.

Noise

The pump hums in the shell; a solid floor and cabinet insulation keep it quiet.

Keeping water hot

An inline heater holds the temperature through a long soak rather than letting it drift.

Before you buy

Five checks for a freestanding install.

Floor load when full

A filled tub weighs far more than a standard bath. Have the floor structure checked before delivery.

Dedicated electrical circuit

The pump and heater need their own GFCI circuit, installed by a licensed electrician.

Service access

Confirm how the access panel sits in your layout so the pump stays reachable.

Drain location

Note which side the drain is on and where the waste line will run.

Warranty and where it's made

Ask for the written warranty, and buy from a manufacturer you can call.

Freestanding FAQ

The questions researchers ask.

If the look matters to you and you'll actually use the jets, a freestanding tub gives both — a centerpiece and real hydrotherapy. The value comes from regular use, so choose the massage type you'll enjoy.

Our freestanding models start from $1,950 and run to $5,950+, depending on size, jet system and finish. Share your measurements and we'll give you the exact price for your configuration.

Not necessarily. A filled tub is heavy and concentrates the load — have the floor checked by your installer before delivery.

They need a drain connection and, for jetted models, a dedicated GFCI electrical circuit for the pump and heater. A licensed plumber and electrician should handle the connections.
